EM7075-DTS fails to detect WD Elements 1.5TB USB HDD

Postby tveldik » 01 Apr 2011, 18:22

I've recently purchased a EM7075DTS and a Western Digital Elements 1.5TB external HDD. The EM7075 works like a charm when connecting to my network, but it does not detect the HDD at all, stating that no storage is present.

The HDD works on both my desktop PC and my laptop, is factory formatted for NTFS, and powered by an external power supply. Unfortunately, I don't have another USB device to test on the media player.

The media player is updated to the latest firmware.

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

I have the EM7075 (without DTS) and WD Elements Desktop 2 TB. I have formatted EXT3. Works perfect. Should work with NTFS as well. Did you already try after a reformat?
