EM7075 serial port
From Eminent Opensource
If you want to debug the EM7075, you can use the internal serial port header. Please note that this port is TTL and needs a converter. If you connect it directly to your pc without a TTL converter, you will destroy it! Open up the EM7075 and rotate it so the back side is pointing towards you. If you have the correct orientation, you can read the L2 and JP1 text on the PCB. See diagram below:
- Front side w/ leds -
[] O O | 1 = GND
L2 | 2 = TX
| 3 = 3.3V
o o o o o | 4 = RX
1 2 3 4 5 | 5 = GND
JP1 |
|-O-O-O--- - -
- back panel with CINCH connector -
You can use a TTL converter such as MAX232 IC. Or shop around on Ebay for pre-built TTL/RS232 adapters.
Serial port settings: 115200 baud, 8N1
